Double your productivity by pairing the R1 FR with a MacDon R1 Pull Type. This dynamic duo multiplies your capacity up to an impressive 32 feet of cutting width*. Common parts between the two units mean service and maintenance are a breeze, making this combination a no brainer for those seeking efficient, high-quality output.

* Using both Front Mount and Pull-Types together doubles your tractor horsepower requirements. A 32-foot cutting width comes from pairing an R116 FR with an R116 PT.

The FR is a seamless choice if you run your operation with a 16-foot cut-width. The R116 FR simplifies your raking and merging logistics by matching windrow spacing on border and pivot tracks, saving you on passes, time, and fuel costs.

C   HIGH OUTPUT WITH LESS HORSEPOWER 

Doing More with Less, the R1 FR only requires 100 horsepower for the 13-foot and 125 horsepower for the 16-foot models. Less horsepower means less fuel consumption. 

D   EASY HOOK-UP 

The three-point hitch on MacDon’s Front Mount Rotary Disc unit is compatible with category 2, 3, and 3N tractors. Cutting disc runs at 2652 rpm at 1000 PTO; a PTO Completion Package is required and installed by your MacDon dealer.

PTO options include: 

• 1.375-inch (35 mm) diameter 21-tooth PTO

• 1.375-inch (35 mm) diameter 6-tooth PTO

• 1.75-inch (44.5 mm) diameter 20-tooth PTO
